Hoops Ticket info (BP group seats)

Any group discount rates at all? Also, are we doing the lowest price, medium, etc?
There were only two prices on the online ordering option. It's open for discussion, but I would bet most folks would want the less expensive tickets. I'll ask specifically if a certain size group could get a discount. I started out guessing we'd want somewhere between 10 and 20 tickets, and that's when she told me about the 8 per person maximum.

I don't think we want one person ordering all of our tickets tho. Because as the years pass we will want to have the tickets under our name, not anyone else's.

Maybe you can see if there is anyway they can set aside 10-15 seats for one business day, and during that day us bpers can order those seats.

Unlikely, but I think we really should try and have the tickets be under our name... unless someone can order 8 of them and put each under an individual name. That works too :)

Absolutely. I know everybody getting season tickets now wants to have the right for ongoing season tickets in their own name. I'll see what's possible with 'group' seating and individual season tickets.

Somebody come up with the breakdown of future tickets i.e. cost, availablilty and flexibility of purchasing. I am pretty sure I want one season ticket but would probably like to get two for the wife or friends and such. I would be willing to go @$500 for two tickets as a pair. Someone let us know when we should be buying these tickets and the specs. As for now I guess you could count me in too.

OK, I just called to try and get answers for the questions I've seen so far. Here's a Q&A listing of my conversation.

Q - How many people are needed in order to get a group rate?
A - No group rates are available for men's basketball.

Q - What are the prices, and where are the seats located for each price?
A - The $221 season tickets will be in the "ends and corners of the 400 level, at the top of the arena." The $306 season tickets will be either at the ends and corners of the 300 level, or at the center of the 400 level. Seats of a different price for the lower bowl will not be available for public sale.

Q - Do faculty get a discount on season tickets?
A - Yes, but that price has not been set yet.

Q - Are faculty seats located in a special area?
A - They attempt to get faculty better seating. They don't know if faculty seating will be available in the lower bowl.

Q - If someone buys 1 season ticket now, will he be able to buy 2 season tickets next season?
A - Yes, but they won't be able to guarantee that the 2 seats will be in the same area as the seat for this season.

Q - How do we buy individual tickets, but guarantee sitting together?
A - Each person needs to call in individually (or do it online), and give a list of the other persons he wants to sit with. The ticket office will then arrange an area of seating for those people to sit together.

Great work BB73!

Here's the seating chart for those interested.

As long as the 300 seats are closer to the end lines and not up behind the baskets I wouldn't mind that. I think I would rather get the $306 seats. At the moment the ticket office is listing 17 possible home games which works out to less than 20 bucks a game. I'm in.
