What are they going to do? Hmmm? All we have to do is provide authorities with the shit they posted and we're covered. All several members did was sign them up for e-mail subscriptions...hardly a crime. By the way, one of the trolls found out my registration e-mail and tried to sign me up to THE LIST (gay newsletter) and I got a "confirmation" e-mail from them. Big fucking deal. If you think you're going to scare us, you'd better think again.

All I'm saying is I've seen it happen before. One poster hired a lawyer, and took legal action against a small group of posters for harassment or something along those lines. I don't know the laws exactly, I'm just saying that with the laws in this country, it's not very hard to bring up a suit against someone. Trust me on this one, it is possible. I doubt any of these people are going to hire a an attorney about this, I'm just giving you a heads up, don't take it too far, that's all.

Well if you consider everything we have put on here has freely available in the internet, no hacking was used, these are free pictures that we found using simply an email address or part of. So far, we have done nothing that is in any way illegal.

That doesn't make much sense. Just because you find someone's information, doesn't mean you are free to do with it as you please. It's a harassment issue, it's got nothing to do with how you obtained the information, but rather how you use it.

Just a heads up guys. I came across this post and felt compelled to make an account just to reply to it. While it is pretty funny what happened here, don't take it too far. I have seen legal action taken due to less than this. I posted on a message board before and the whole thing got shutdown thanks to a law suit between three of four of the members.

Just a warning, don't take it too far, you'd be surprised how quickly things turn from funny to ugly when the authorities get involved.

What authorities?

Except none of what you put in that crappy post is happening here.

We aren't searching people out and harrassing them, they are signing up and GIVING THEIR EMAIL ADDRESSES in their sign up and then proceeding to act like douchenozzles.....

It's really easy troll, don't act like a douche and you won't get signed up for My Horsecock emails.....

It's harassment dude. You can't post pictures of people and making fun of them without consent. Just because someone posts a picture online doesn't give it free license to be tampered with. You're attacking the real life person, which is illegal, regardless of how you slice it.

And please, you think I'm one of the "trolls"? Try me.

My IP is the University of Miami - Whois lookup and Domain name search - Whois for 192.88.124.203

My e-mail address is an old one from back in the day, because I don't use my real one to sign up for stuff like message boards. I'm trying to give you some decent advice. Go ahead and ignore it, there's a 99% that nothing will happen. I'm just giving you fair warning that it's never a good idea to take it too far with people you don't know. It can end ugly.

You're a troll, live with it.

Now why would I do that?? Other than being an ass, you aren't doing anything like what the individuals this thread was started for did.....

My e-mail address is an old one from back in the day, because I don't use my real one to sign up for stuff like message boards.

Goodie for you....want a cookie or something?? :roll1:

I'm trying to give you some decent advice.

And failing....

Go ahead and ignore it,

I will I promise....

99% CHANCE of the end of the sentence not making any sense.....

I'm just giving you fair warning that it's never a good idea to take it too far with people you don't know. It can end ugly.

:slappy:

Uh oh, it's another internet person threatening a lawsuit...what will we ever do??

See, here's the difference. I haven't threatened any of you with a lawsuit, I don't have a case. You're more than welcome to try and link me to your "trolls", but you won't be able to unless one of them is from the U, which I doubt. I'm done wasting my time here. I can guarantee you the law has become involved with issues exactly like this one, and I'll leave it at that.

And neither do they despite what you "think" and I use that term loosely.....

Who said anything about linking you with the 6 retards that this thread was started for? You've done quite enough to earn your own spot here.....

Really? Athletes, celebs, politicians, etc. have it happen all the time. Hell, Steve Bartman would be a millionaire by now with all his possible lawsuits.

Please, spend 3 years in law school and get back with us. Either that, or just buy a clue.

wadc and methomps' letters threatening legal action were much more sublime, oneholio...

I do not think this word means what you think it means. You are familiar with a thing called a tabloid? You do know what paparazzi do, don't you, or is the word too long? Exposing a person's public life is not harassment. And if the information is freely available on the web without breaking any laws to find it, it is public record. Do you need public defined for you?

The law office of Lloyd R. Rich begs to differ.

Introduction
It has been a long-standing practice to poke fun at our cultural icons, symbols, public figures and celebrities. A parody exists when one imitates a serious piece of work, such as literature, music or artwork, for a humorous or satirical effect. Parody, as a method of criticism, has been a very popular means for authors, entertainers and advertisers to communicate a particular message or point of view to the public.

You're attacking the real life person, which is illegal, regardless of how you slice it.
You don't read much literature do you? How about listening to talk shows such as the Daily Show, the Colbert Report oR even Jay Leno, our modern day equivalents of Swift?

Here's a dictionary entry that might make it a bit clearer for you.

Have a great day! We have enjoyed your time here and look forward to schooling you again.

Oh, and by the way, you are now well past your screen name promise. That's breach of contract and I have hired a lawyer. I think I will do pretty well, he is great at swaying people with his passionate tirades.
