You kids stay off my lawn!
I was just ten and my big sister was a freshman in the dental hygiene program at OSU. Going to Columbus was a big deal and Homecoming made it even more so. I had my Kodak Hawkeye camera with me. The first thing that caught my eye was this "float" on 15th - don't know which house - captioned "Hold 'em Bucks! There was a second such "float" of similar design and captioned, "I Dreamed I beat Northwestern in My Maidenform Bra."

I have two more pics from the game, but BP doesn't want to take them no matter how much I downsize them, so screw it. I'll respond to my own thread with the others.

My parents were in school at tOSU during that time. My dad was ROTC in the School of Engineering and my mom was in Education. If you can get them loaded up I am sure my mom will enjoy seeing them.

We had pretty bad seats, probably some of the worst I can remember. Dad loved C deck and we usually ended up there. Don't know what happened on this day, but as you can see we ended up in the very last section of A deck and about the best thing I can say was that it was way cool when the Buckeyes came out of or went into the locker room. If you look carefully you can spot Hoppy (#40) as he walked off the field. Next year he would win the Heisman.

Bucks won 27 - 13. Extra points weren't automatic back then, but Tad Weed, the Buckeye kicker was pretty deadly. Maybe he kicked two field goals and didn't miss a PAT. Love the photogs in suits behind the goal line. I wonder if any of them were still using a Speed Graflex in stead of 35 mm SLRs.
