If they have any players worth a damn, they lose them to the Yankees when they become free agents because of the financial imbalance of MLB.

KC has some pretty good young ball players.....that many teams are going to hire away unfortunately. This is a big week for KC baseball and the fans are bringing more life to the HR Derby than most cities do. I's all we 've got until the Chiefs get started.

What Cano did was certainly not unprecedented, but it was kind of a dick move. Billy Butler is a fairly upper tier home run slugger right now and it would have been a nice gesture. Oh well, at least LaRussa goes strictly by the best player rule. Oh, wait....Cueto ?
