Yeah pretty much. What’s a fortune @AuTX Buckeye? Just bought a new Whirlpool as ours died after only 4 years. You can go anywhere from $400-$1000. I don’t know if the $1000 Bosch is worth it. I wish we would’ve gone with the third rack though for silverware. That’s going to push you around $800
Sorry I didn't post the price but you nailed it with the 700-800 range.

@ORD_Buckeye @jwinslow @buckeyebri @AKAK @NJ-Buckeye
Thanks for the feedback, I understand it's all a crapshoot anymore.. and what's crazy I have a plumbing buddy that said now Sammy's are getting alot of praise for their appliances lately. I'm trying to make a decision quick and it's an energy star (tm) sales tax holiday this weekend here in Texas...

@jwinslow how long have ou had that kitchenaide? I ask because through corporate perks I have a Whirlpool "inside pass" and that model is going for $716 right now.

I've had it for a few months, so I can't speak to longevity, but it's very nice. It feels like a $1200-1400 dishwasher. It's a very, very different class than the under $800 ones I saw. It feels like you're buying a very, very nice dishwasher. Very different than when you use a medium level dishwasher. This feels like an affordable higher end unit.

This is the one my father in law wanted (or it's very close cousin), and they didn't have it in stock, and he got the bosch equivalent instead*. He likes it fine, but wishes he had the kitchenaid

I've been around more than a few of the newer ones in the $700-1200 range (we travel and often stay in VRBOs, so I've seen a very wide range of offerings), and they often don't clean well, or dry well. This one does very nicely with both.

* - actually they tried to install a "starter model to put in a home you're flipping" model, and he had to raise hell to stop that )

Doesn't whirlpool own everything now?

So... Whirlpool?
I have a 7 year old $400 whirlpool made in Ohio. (,$400 7 years ago so. Extrapolate the model level inflation). It's a nice unit. We literally run 5 loads a week so, we are there in the $1 a load for hardware range.

So. There's a data point

Katy Perry reveals Orlando Bloom’s X-rated reward for completing chores

Orlando Bloom proposed to Katy Perry in 2019 after a brief split

Katy Perry revealed her racy reaction to Orlando Bloom doing chores around the house.

Perry opened up about her relationship with "The Lord of the Rings" star in an episode of "Call Her Daddy." The "American Idol" judge and Bloom first began dating in 2016 before splitting after a year. The two jumped back into a relationship in 2018 and got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019.

In the new interview, Perry noted a red flag within a relationship would be a partner who doesn't help out.

For Bloom's part, the actor and Perry attended "lots of couple's therapy" because they want to "evolve." "I think why we're in our relationship is to become better humans so that we can raise this beautiful human being," Perry said of their three-year-old daughter Daisy.

"One of my love languages is acts of service," Perry admitted. "So, it's like if I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you've done it all — you've done all the dishes, and you've closed all the pantry doors — you better be ready to get your d--- sucked."

"Like literally. That is my love language," she added. "I don't need a red Ferrari. I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the f---ing dishes!"
