I have learned to never say never when it comes to maintenance on a home.I said I would never paint the trim in our house ever again. Here we are less than a year at our new place and I'm painting the trim. Ugh.

This reminds me of a story about my ex-wife. She loved painting rooms and random walls various colors.
So she would want to repaint, say, the bedroom. I would move out all the furniture, paint all the trim, anal retentively tape the trim and edges, paint out 10 inches from that with a brush, remove all the tape, oh and paper the floors. She would roll the inside areas for half an hour. I would then remove everything, touch up her work, and replace all the furniture.
The next time someone would visit, she would say, "I painted the bedroom! What do you think?"
Anyone have replacement windows installed? Any recommendations for quality work at a decent price?
So I will have maybe 2-3 hours tonight (most of which should be spent editing) to buy or obtain two things :
A 3 foot easel board, aka two boards that form an upside down v. The kind that you see outside of a restaurant on the sidewalk. Buying one would be preferable due to time limitations.
A 2 ft High box to stand on, maybe 3x3 in width and length?
Any suggestions? I can build this if needed but wonder if anyone has an idea where I could buy this.
Any recommendations on the best adhesive for attaching a treated 2x4 to exterior concrete block? Is there one that actually works? I have tried the Heavy Duty Construction version of liquid nails, but it won't dry. I was going to bolt it on, but I don't have a hammer drill to drill the pilot holes. May have to rent one, but looking for other suggestions.
