Holbrook was thrown to the curb by Directional Florida U after trashing Ohio State and the Buckeyes in her interview. Nobody wants to hire such an impolitic, bitter woman.

So now I think this thread can be renamed, "Holbrook to Never Get Another U-Prez Job the Rest of Her Life."

Comments about fans misplaced

She was the worst president in the history of the Ohio State University. When she left, Columbus, nay, the state breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Perhaps we're being a little melodramatic.
We don't think that about former Ohio State President Karen Holbrook. But we, along with many Ohioans and Buckeye fans, were taken aback by her stinging comments about OSU fans during an interview to be chief at another university in Florida. At least it wasn't that university in Florida.

Former Ohio State University President Karen Holbrook accepted a job at the University of South Florida, officials there announced yesterday. She will serve as interim vice president of research and innovation.

She will start Dec. 3. Her salary is to be announced today.

What an incredible idiot she turned out to be. Goodbye, good riddance, and enjoy your short tenure as an ineffectual bureaucrat at a fourth-tier research school.

My only question for her would be this, why did you have the videotape of this debauchery made and why did you watch it so often?

As for Ohio State, now that it has had the collective enema that removed her, it will rise from strength to strength!
