HOF Game: Bills vs Titans

He also left his ability to dominate defenses with his legs on the collegiate level...

He was never a fantastic passer, but I thought that a guy with a 6'5" frame and the ability to make plays last a little longer would have been at least a little successful.

I guess it didn't work out for JaMarcus either.

Amazingly, people actually wager on these exhibitions. Might as well flip a coin.

:slappy: yea thats always been a question for me

who the fuck bets on preseason football? and why?

it doesnt seem wise to wager money on 2nd and 3rd stringers

He has a very strong arm though; but doesnt have the consistent ability to make proper reads, diagnose a next level defense nor constantly punish one with his escape ability. See how close those safties creep up when he's in?

Yeah... not gonna happen Tejas fans.

Little early yet to pass judgement on him. I'd say his struggles have more to do with the organization that employs him than ability. He did start to show some promise late last year.

But yeah, all those stars in the '05 Rose Bowl aren't really panning out...Bush, VY, Leinart, Jarrett, White, Sweed, etc...

The second half of last season Russell completed over 61% of his passes and his QB rating was 88.5. There were signs that he might getting it. We'll see how he follows that up.

Young looks like a lost cause to me. He was never as good a passer as Russell, and he's a head case.

I know too many fans who get all wrapped up in these games so I can see how it happens. I've gone to work after the Steelers 3rd stringers scored a couple late TDs to win a game in August and heard talk about the "great comeback" last night.

I like the old school unis. Titans looked pretty sharp for a first preseason game...the no huddle looks like a potential disaster in Buffalo though...yes, TO caught a couple of passes when the starters were in, but no one really looked comfortable out there, and I don't think the line is good enough.
