Heading up that way next week with my sister and will be doing day hiking at Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, Columbia George, Newberry Crater, Crater Lake, the Oregon Coast and Olympic NP.

Anybody with experience in that are have any tips or suggestions?

Spend $$ on good drywear. Bring cold weather gear, 'cause Ranier can change from nice to life threatening in a heartbeat. Eat the fresh seafood every day. :biggrin: The Village Market Bistro is good in Newport at Nye beach in Oregon, and the Pelican Pub is a good micro brewery nearby
