Roundtree and Graham are both studs. As for Tater, I think Rich Rod set him up for failure. Bringing in Denard did nothing to help Michigan move the ball with consistency, and three of Tater's picks came on plays after he came in for Denard on obvious passing downs. U-M was chugging along fine with Tate and their base offense, then the wheels came off when Rich Rod started to flash his genius. Go figure.UpNorthBuckeye;1602864; said:I thought Brandon Graham played out of his mind yesterday (but how do we leave him unblocked ???), you have a couple of good receivers, your team overall played pretty well. Did not understand fully how Tate threw four interceptions like that in the 12th game of the season..?
See you in Cbus next year!
Tate's fourth INT, the one that he threw right to Gibson, I think might have been due to his sprained AC joint. Obviously a bad pass, but he had to have seen Thad there. I'm wondering if he just didn't have anything left to get the ball up in the air. The five turnovers, being battered and bruised, and having a douche-ass-moron for a head coach aside, I thought Tate played pretty well.
If Rich Rod were smart enough to build an offense around Tate throwing to Roundtree, and not bringing in his 165 lb QB named 'Shoelace' to run a Jr. High-style offense, U-M could go places. The U-M roster does have talent. The cupboard was not, and is not bare. Rich Rod is just a stubborn idiot.
