I had the same thing happen to me about a week ago. I thought that rest was the answer but I was wrong. Take some motrin, gently stretch and walk. The day that I rested it got worse. Once I started fighting through the pain and being active it slowly got better. That's why it's always worse in the morning, because you've been laying on it all night.
