Herbstreit picked MSU today

Gee I looked at the negative reps for rapping Herbstreit. Should I give negative reps to everyone who stands up for him? You guys and gals are sure touchy.

There's a difference in "rapping" Herbstreit for what he may think and calling him a "washed-up QB". A washed-up QB is one who keeps on trying to play when his ability has long gone. Herbstreit is no such individual, and has in fact represented Ohio State well since his graduation.

You know, it gets tiring hearing crap about Herbstreit such as "...washed-up QB", just because he doesn't pick Ohio State every game, especially with their very first post here. I don't agree with everything Herb says, but I don't resort to calling him a "washed-up QB". He's gone further in his life than anyone on this board, so I'd cut him a tad bit of slack. If anyone doubts his loves for Ohio State, just look at the photo of him leaping on George's back at the 2003 Fiesta Bowl.

Given that he and Corso do nothing but pick favorites, it shouldn't bother anyone that he occasionally picks against OSU. I'd have more respect for ESPN if they had any facility for calling an upset. Or, in Corso's case, were famous for something more than handing the ball off to Burt Reynolds.

Lay off my Bulls. They're getting better. Doesn't help that Reinsdorf is probably the 2nd worst owner in the City and 3rd worst owner of any major sports team in the US.
