I agree with everyone else that the Skull session is pretty much a must if it is your first game. I'm pretty sure it starts about 1.5hrs before kickoff as well. You also need to be inside the stadium and at your seat before the band comes out. The band usually comes out with 20min before kickoff, but for bigger games it is usually around 25-30min before kickoff.

The best advice i can give you is to just have fun and take in the whole atmosphere of the stadium and game. There is nothing like the experience of the Shoe during a game. Also bring a camera to remember the great day!
