Help! How bad is the B section/C section endzone seating

Hey guys! I'm new on here so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place or this has already been answered. I tried looking around but am hoping to get more of a definite answer on this subject than I had seen in other places.

I have tried all week to get tickets for a few of this years games, I even had the code for all 3 presales, got on right when they started and didn't have much luck. However, today I got tickets to both the VT and UM games but with limited view seats. The location for the VT game is section 5B row 7 seats 23 and 24. UM game is 11C Row 37 seats 24 and 25. My boyfriend is a HUGE Ohio State fan and these are a gift for him, but I'm wondering how truly awful the seats are or if they even are at all. I took him to the Penn State game last year and we sat in A deck, loved our seats! I want him to be able to see and enjoy the game. Should I sell these and pay extra for a little better ones or will these be okay? Thank you for your help! I tried looking it up on like every seat view type of site but like I said, I want something more specific on these exact seats.

C-Deck is fine no matter where you're at in my opinion. You might get stuck behind a pillar in B-Deck anywhere outside of the south stands.

You didn't put where in section b you were, however, check out this site and see if it helps

What section for VT?

For Michigan, 11C...that high up it looks like you'll have the press box to deal with. You can see it in this image:

You would likely be behind that last pillar holding up the press box on the right.

Ditto. I have a theory that 75% of the key plays in any given game take place in an area that blocks the sight line of 80% of the fans in B deck. On the other hand, I was in B deck for the Indiana game - the one where the Columbus weather man did a "white out"- and it was nice to be sheltered from the snow.

I like C deck. 11C is going to put you at the end zone near the top of the shoe. You'll have great sight lines, especially on plays near the goal line.

Oh, and you can't see the scoreboard from much of B-deck.

Just looked at the seating chart. You need to see what row you're in, first five six rows of B you'd be ok most of the time. As BN27 points out, up too high in C and you could get screwed with only half the field in view - I think it's the 2006 game when the TV crew showed some folks sitting next to the press box in C and having to watch a good part of the game on the TV provided.

Those people were in D Deck. They were under the press box. I was in D Deck for that game, but I saw everything just fine. It just depends on your seat.

Terrible seats. Aren't even worth the paper they are printed in. I wouldn't even bother trying to sell them.

I will consider taking them off your hands, though. Because I am THAT nice.
