I've been saying for years that I think Wade is a dirty player and just a straight punk, which is why I'm always surprised that he never gets labeled as such. The NBA and its double standards for superstars does make it a joke. He should have, at a minimum, gotten a flagrant 2 for that move, which is more suited for the football field than a basketball court.

The difference is that in case number 1 (where Griffin was hit), it was the superstar who got hit by the scrub. Hence, the scrub gets suspended. In case 2 (where Collison got hit), it was the scrub who got hit by the superstar. Hence, the superstar does not get suspended.

That's how things roll in David Stern's NBA.
