What if some recently 'relocated' coaches met up?

If some of college football's recently "relocated" coaches ran into each other at the airport:

Houston Nutt: Ed, is that you? Ed Orgeron? What on earth are you doing in handcuffs? [To TSA agent:] Why is this man in custody?

Agent: He became belligerent when one of the flight attendants offered him a pillow -- started shouting "Everyone's a comedian!" when the poor man was only trying to do his job. He seems to have cooled off, so we're going to release him. [To Orgeron:] Here's your shirt back, sir.

Oklahoma State assistant Fedora to coach Southern Miss

JACKSON, Miss. ? Southern Mississippi hired Oklahoma State assistant Larry Fedora as its new coach Wednesday, the Associated Press has learned.

A person close to the Southern Miss program, who spoke on condition of anonymity because an official announcement had not been made, confirmed Fedora has been chosen to replace Jeff Bower, who resigned last month after 17 years.

A news conference was scheduled later Wednesday to officially announce Fedora's hiring.

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn offensive coordinator Al Borges resigned after four seasons and will not coach in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Clemson.

Borges helped Auburn to a 13-0 record in his first year in 2004, but the Tigers' offense hasn't been as effective since the departure of stars including Jason Campbell, Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown.

"After speaking with coach Tuberville for the better part of 20 minutes, it became increasingly clear that Auburn needed a new offensive coordinator," Borges said in a statement Tuesday.

Tuberville said he began searching for a new coordinator after meeting with Borges last week.

"We hope to have someone on board in the near future," he said.
