Wanna make $14 the hard way?
I am a member of a community-service organization and we recently bought a Dell multimedia projector for use in our hall. Typical uses include presentations, movies and sporting events. Like most projectors, it does not have an internal TV tuner, so we have to route our incoming cable signal through a VCR, then to the projector. The VCR we are using is 15 years old and quite frankly, a P.O.S.

The projector can handle HD-capable, and our cable provider is starting to provide a few HD channels, so I would like to buy something that will allow us to watch TV in HiDef. Can any of you recommend a good external tuner, or are we looking at going through a PC with a built in HDTV card?

We are 50 miles from the nearest TV station, so getting anything over the air is out of the question.

Thanks in advance......
