Not sure how S&C helps a badly pulled hammy or a rolled ankle/tweaked knee. Maybe affects plantar fasciitis.
I also think worrying about how he looks on the sidelines doesn't matter. He looked like a coach whose team was losing. Half the time I couldn't tell if Urban was going to have a stroke or pass out.
As far as I see it, Day addressed the defense, but they remain a team that is feast or famine. And the gambling for big plays on both sides of the ball has caught up with him. Long TDs aren't coming consistently enough to solve red zone issues, and teams aren't biting on playaction nor surprised by any wrinkles. Feels like they're constantly running low percentage plays at crucial times.
Add in that the offense has lacked rhythm much of this season and he has a clusterfuck to figure out on his side of the ball. Part of that has been due to losing JSN, but part of it has been how they've structured everything. He needs to start with himself, decide on how well Wilson fits with what he wants, and how helpful it might be to have someone pushing him outside his comfort zone. I think he needs it, because his shit isn't working that well anymore.
He's lost the optimism people had after early results. Now he has a year to fix it.
