Which kinda sucks bc OSU has zero ability to play in Big 10 weather.

They’ll try like hell, even with (3) 1st RD WR talents on the outside…

I used to get excited about hosting a home game in December.

This team would be better on the rd in a dome or southern schools field.

They’re so charmin soft.

Yeah, I wish I could disagree, but, emotionally, this game means everything to us old timers…but in the grand scheme, it means little. Michigan is off to the Weedwacker Fuckface Bowl, and we’re off to the playoff. The administration will consider that successful because of the playoff money and exposure.

Our game is over.

Actually, I do. Who in the field really impresses you? Which team is not a bunch of mercenaries with a corporate CEO head coach?

The One Game Seasons are over and done with. Get used to the Brave New World of college football.

Anything is possible but I never said they would.

It’s possible in a normal year you could play the cheaters THREE times in one year. And the only one that would truly matter would be in the playoffs, the last one. this expanded playoff stuff has critically altered how we should expect games to matter. Sadly.

I’m not making this political but JD Vance said something when being interviewed by Theo Von that really struck a cord with me. He said more or less that only one team wins it in the end so the likelihood your team wins isn’t great. That sometimes he wonders if it’s even worth it because it’s likely your season ends in misery.

Sometimes I wish I wasn’t a fan because it’s days like today that are the absolute worst. I think Ryan Day is a great man but I have to say I think both parties need a fresh start.

The problem is who can we hire that’s on par with Ryan who literally is the winners active coach?

My literal first though was Jim Tressel but he’s too old and the same goes for Nick Saban who is older than Jim. The only true rock star is Urban Meyer but do we really want that? No clue…

Urban is only 60 years old and he could go another 10 years if Nick Saban can coach until 72.

I just don’t think this is working out for either party but we should absolutely not do anything stupid until we know we can get someone who’s proven.

My vote is for finishing out this year and when we likely lose we part ways with Day and throw 15-20 million at Dan Lanning.

Issue with firing Day is half the roster will leave. And I'm not saying don't fire him.. thats just the reality though. As for the game. I have no idea what the gameplan was. tcun literally have one strength and we figure lets go right at it. Look at your team. We don't have maulers. Our oline is hanging by a thread. I get you wanna be tough but this team has consistently showed we are finesse. Open teams up and make them defend our 3 (4) good receivers. Then run when you get favorable downs to go. You wanna get tough? Go put an emphasis on that in your recruiting.

In things that don't matter. Why is this team not allowed to run 4 wide? We need to go 60 yards and we have Gee Freekin Scott out there doing jack ****.

The problem is Day has shown himself to be a fucking head case in these kinds of games except maybe the Indiana game.

He might win one, maybe two depending on matchup, but there's no way in hell he's making it all four games without peeing down his leg.

Group chat with some friends. And another text with a local bar owner as I complained about missing out on another Big 10 Championship weekend here in Indy.

Both of them said, “at least you’ll be in the playoffs”

So yeah. No one else gets it. And we look silly when the path to what they consider great is still there.

They’re wrong but also right.
