How quickly another team fades in the recruiting world. Last year they were getting hyped and saying that they wer going to be a national power and yada yada yada.
Back to Bowman. Just another good recruit that Tress is bringing in.

Honesty, I cannot get myself amped about anything relating to Iowa. Do they even matter?

They did two seasons ago when they ripped us a new one 33-7. Yeah, we paid them back this past season, but we go into their place again this season ad they always play use tough. They may be having some problems on the recruiting front right now, but it's far from the time to be blowing them off...

When we are bad, one or a couple of these teams - Iowa, Wiscy, Minny, NW etc. beat us but I cannot respect any team against which we have had double digit win streaks. But I do get your point. They are sort of good nowadays and can beat us if we don't play up to par.

Iowa will be one of 3 very difficult games next year, along with Tejas & scUM. The Hawks won't forget what happened here last year, as we didn't forget the year before - they'll be ready, and Kinnick will be fired up, especially if we are able to get by UT & come in ranked highly.
