We live in a "active" area and get occasional shakes!
Just a normal part of living here, Taos.
Ever hear of the Taos Hum? Earth grinding.........
I lose power way to often, though.

I had earlier brought out a couple oil lamps because I thought we may loose electricity because of the heavy rains...

I'm confused. Did the earthquake shake it loose, or was it the rain that loosened up the electricity.
