You claimed they were a juggernaut and I said they weren't until last year. Yes, they did put up a ton of offense in other years--at times. They would be great for a couple weeks and get flat shut down the next. Their offense was one of the most inconsistent I've ever seen. That was why I was critical of their offense at the beginning of this thread (which started before last season began).

Then Colt Brennan turned them around last year. He was scary good at times...in fact, a lot of times. Hawaii had a five-game stretch where they averaged 62 points a game. Hawaii had never, ever, had a stretch even close to that in their history. After their 17-point struggle at Alabama in the opener, the score 41+ points in their last 13 games except for 34 points at Boise State (the same 13-0 BSU that beat Oklahoma) and a 32-point off day against Oregon State (and even USC only scored 31 against the Beavers).

While previous Hawaii teams put up some impressive numbers sporadically, last year's offense truly qualified as a juggernaut.

Wow...you got me Mili. In 2000 they were only 40th in total offense. Completely crappy offensive team. Never put up any offense. No Juggernaut there. Those are the numbers of a mediocre offensive team at best.

17th in total offense is very good, but not a juggernaut, nor is 11th. Now, being #1 at 550 ypg and 47 ppg is...just as I said.
