Hawaii Bowl - Hawaii 41, Ariz. St. 24 (Dec. 24, 2006)

#1 scoring offense (Hawaii - 47.3 ppg) against #68 scoring defense (ASU - 23.8 ppg). Hawaii has scored 41+ points 10 times, including 61+ points four times. ASU has given up 49 to Cal, 48 to Oregon, and 44 to Oregon State. June Jones will keep Colt Brennen in the whole game, regardless of the score, in order to allow Brennen to break and extend David Klingler's record of 54 TD passes in a season (Colt currently has 53) and to hype him for Heisman next season. Don't be surprised to see Brennen still on the field in the fourth quarter after having already thrown 6 TDs, in order to get #7 for an even 60 TDs.

Ah yes, that annual "Let's make a bowl just to so Hawaii can be in a bowl game" bowl...

in defense of hawaii from the couple games i watched them play in they look like a quality team this year. i was very impressed with brennan and they had a potent offense and the defense has some players but they give up some big plays so like usual the defense kinda lags. id make them a top 15 team if they improved on defense. brennan is the real deal. oh and hawaii will dominate in this game. only way ASU wins is if they win one for their coach who is leaving other than that ill take hawaii by 17.
