I think you got your gamedays confused, OregonBuckeye.

The Hawaii/SJS game you mentioned was on a Friday night.

That week's Thursday night game was FSU/Wake Forest.

Wow, because that's an important detail :roll2: I just took you off ignore, don't make me put you back on.

Someone big (Michigan, Michigan State?) backed out of a game this season. No one wants to come out here anymore, because Hawaii is good enough to beat most anyone on their turf.

I think Big-10 teams have basically boycotted Hawaii due to some poor officiating in previous meetings. I could be wrong but I know Purdue and MSU weren't very happy with the officiating.

I must not be paying enough attention, I've seen guys laying the wood with legal hits but none of the late hit, blows to the head, or other dirty stuff.

I've been critical of the home team in the past, in terms of their behavior, but I'll agree with the above poster regarding tonight's game. Outside of Bess' unnecessary dive into the endzone on a score, I didn't see anything out of the norm during a college football game. On a more positive note, give credit to the UH's defense for relatively shutting down Boise's run game (though they did give up one long one), and offensively, they did enough to win a big game. Brennan did a nice job controlling the O, taking what they gave him. As far as playing a BCS opponent, the jury is still out. I saw a LOT of special teams mistakes, which an opponent with superior physical talent would take big-time advantage of. Hawaii still must defeat Washington to stake their claim to a BCS opportunity, so we shall see. But, all in all, for UH to finally beat Boise, and win the WAC outright, it's a big win for the program.
