Hawaii 35, Washington 28 (Final)

If I were a voter in the Coach's Poll or the Harris Poll; I'd sure as heck not have Hawaii in my top-12. No way does a team face ONE bcs school, which beat only 3 bcs schools out of 11 on its schedule, and barely slide by them, AND THEN get into a BCS Bowl game.

But alas, undefeated is undefeated; and this year, even with that schedule, it's good enough to get them into the Sugar Bowl.
Hawaii did try to schedule a bunch of BCS teams (Michigan :slappy:) but they couldn't get any of the games.

Who would you replace Hawaii with if you were a voter?

Illinois

Florida

Arizona St

Cincy

UCONN

Hell just about anyone with 9 wins......

BYU

Texas

The list goes on....you don't have to pick just one, but I'd put just about any one of these ahead of Hawaii at this point....

When Hawaii was down 21-0 in the first quarter, I told all my Hawaiian buddies who were watching the game with me that UH would come back to win...even the most hard-core of them looked at me like I was on crack. Looks like I guessed right.

Had the game been in Seattle, UW would've won by 10+ points. But the flight distance and time change is tough on visitors here...

That crazy home field atmosphere factors in there too. I've never seen a continuous party going on like that at any other stadium, from the tribal drums to the streamers, etc.
