It's about that time of year again..One of the best times of the year...HALLOWEEN....I will probably hit up a few haunted houses this year..I wanted to know of some new haunted houses this year if anyone knows of any or if you have been to a really good one before let me know where...Anywhere in Ohio...There are few good ones in Zanesville, especially the one in the old Chandlersville school.

Your experiences???

The Hoochie sucks, long lines and not very scary. Don't waste your time.

Went to the Haunted Hoochie about 3 years ago when I was still in college. I hate that type of shit but a girl I was dating wanted to go. It sucked, it was not scary at all just fucking stupid. The line was absurd, I waited for about 3 hours. Not worth your time.

How can haunted houses be scary when one goes into the place knowing it is a show?

Well, it can be. I had one genuine scare.

This place was a huge production, lots of money put into it. So it was all well done, but still not scary.

Then this little girl, she could not have been more than 12 (how is that legal? a young looking 18 year old doesn't even seem possible), and made up to look like she had had her throat slit and had been dead awhile, was standing behind me, holding a butcher knife.

I turned around and saw her. She asked, in her tiny voice, "will you play with me?"

I noped out of there so fast.

So that is a protip for people running haunted houses: involve dead little girls with knives.

Edit: FWIW and for relevance, this place was in MEPA, so not much help for most.
