Hate mail to football players.

as a high school football player, i can honestly say that if i were on a 0-10 team i couldnt take hate mail seriously. those guys probably dont take it too seriously because obviously the expectations couldn't have been that high. As pathetic as it is on the hate mailer's part, im sure the guys can blow it off.

You all in those farm towns with HS football teams might not worry about death threats and hate mail and shit like that. But here in Columbus(Especially the Columbus City League teams) they don't even bother with the mail part, they say it right to your face and you got to watch what you say back, they pack heat. Just this year when my school was at East for the football game at halftime i walked over to the concessions to get something to eat, and this 16-17 year old told me to get out of the fucking line or he would cap my ass. Well you never know in that part of town, so i got out of the line.

I doubt it had anything to do with you being on the football team... he probably knew you personally.... and I thinkl we can all understand where he was coming from.... since when do players go to the concession stand during halftime anyway?

I wasn't dressed/playing in that game, i was injured and i'am still injured, i'm out for the season with a foot injury/more like a foot problem, i was in street clothes and sure i had my Beechcroft jersey on, but that doesn't mean i shouldn't be able to get something to eat.

There is NO WAY a varsity player should EVER be seen in a concession stand line while his teammates are in the locker room!

I've never seen this and if I would have I would have laughed in his face.

I thought the band went to the concession stand at half?

We don't go to the locker room at half time during away games, only at home games do we do that, away games we usually sit behind one of the endzones. At the beginning of the year when i was in full pads i didn't do that. Plus the bathrooms were on the other side of the field and i had to go, better to go at halftime than during the game.

No i have a problem that comes from when i broke my foot a few years ago, i can walk with no pain, but when i run it is VERY painful, this just started this year, i played the year before and it didn't hurt, the doctor says it is hard to explain, but basically i have a nerve or tendon out of place. I had this happen about 2 years ago, but it went away after about 2-3 weeks. Believe me if you want to or not.
