Tomorrow is the 239th birthday of my beloved Army. What other organization on Earth could take a simple minded Quaker farmer and turn him into an unrepentant shill for the military industrial complex. 24 years ago I hopped on a plane and left the greatest state in the union for basic training. Three wars, countless deployments, endless holidays, anniversaries, and birthdays spent in the most repugnant shit holes the world has to offer I can honestly say I wouldn't do a damn thing differently! Happy Birthday Army!
