Happy Birthday, and open call for ideas.

Said everything I wanted to in the announcement (top of every forum for the next 7 days), but that doesn't allow for responses, so I thought I'd create this thread.

This is also an open call for ideas on how to improve. Thump's thread about the political discussions is a perfect example of an area that needed some new ideas and action, and now we're trying something new. That's a great thing.

If there are other areas and other ideas, let's talk about them. Now and here, or anytime and anywhere in the future.

Here's to a good year 2.

Congrats, Clarity...you should be very proud of this board. There is something here for pretty much everyone, and that is hard to pull off. All the best for continued growth in year two.

congratulations, Clarity. You and your staff have put together a terrific site.

Thanks, and I'm personally a huge fan of having fans of other programs like yourself over here. I hope we'll see more of that in the future, and I encourage anyone and everyone to invite good people from other teams over. We are OSU-focused, but what goes on with the USC's, LSU's, Miami's, Oklahoma's and all the other upper echelon programs out there has a bearing on what OSU is doing, and conversely, we have a bearing on what they're doing.

I'd love to see Kurtis from NCSU over here, SactoSpartan, any one of a number of Texas Tech and WSU fans (we're happy to have TSK stopping in now and again already). I wish we had a few people from Miami, Texas, VaTech and other OOC schools we will be facing over the next few years. If someone knows a Marshall fan or two who are good football minds, I'd like to see them as well.

Anyway, thanks for being a part of the discussion. I hope you'll stick around for some time, and you're more than welcome to invite similarly minded people from other programs over.

I'd just like to echo what Mili said earlier Clarity. When I stumbled on this site purely by accident last year, it was the best thing that happened to me as far as Buckeye football and Buckeye sports in general. Here's to you and your crew and many more years of this excellent site.

I toggled over here from time to time for a long while before this site reached 'critical mass' and started supporting regualr ongoing dicusssion. The comments of so many new posters, and in particular those from other sites, say it all.

Great sites are the result of great posters and you only get those if you have a great foundation to start with.

Nice job.

And it just keeps getting better.

Clarity,

One idea I had is that several people seem to be having computer issues, which is something I would imagine will occur regularly as we get more people on the board, and I still have them from time to time myself. Perhaps you might want to think about making a "Computer Resource" sub-board or something that could include your thread at the top, along with other tips people have and a place where people could post questions.

Just something to consider.
