Just a quick note to say thanks to all of the men and women who are serving or have served in the Armed Forces. What a great country we live in and we are so fortunate to have people willing to stand up and defend it for minimal compensation.

We also need to thank all the spouses and children who support them. Often times we focus on the person serving, but forget the toll it takes on the children and the family. I can tell you from personal experience, without my wife, being deployed would have been almost unbearable. Her support, sending care packages, or even just hearing her voice, kept me going from day to day in hopes of getting home soon.

Everyone take a minute and explain to your family, kids, etc... the sacrifice that our soldiers make. It is a deed that deserves to be understood and recognized by all of us who enjoy our freedom.

So everyone have a safe 4th and enjoy every second with your friends and family!
 
I rode with my softball team in the parade here in Hilliard. The girls had a ball and didn't seem to mind the wait in the rain to get started. It stopped raining just before the parade started, but we were already soaked.

happy 4th of july, and what are your plans for tonight? in piqua, we go down to the park, well i am this year cuz my family is coming :smash: , lol just kidding, but being around a bunch of 4-10 year old girls really blows the whole night. so im going to the park while they have the little party here. night out with the guys, hunting some girls. man its the life! :biggrin:

Ryan Pretorius, if you are out there, I just heard from someone that they have had a thirty minute firework display in Durban, South Africa on the North Beach. Apparently, it was as good as this person ever saw in the USA.

Now, do your hometown folks proud and put up some fireworks for the Buckeyes this year!:osu:
