It’s the last offseason Hangout before the regular season begins next week.
Land-Grant Holy Land’s flagship podcast ‘Hangout in the Holy Land’ is back for a brand new season with brand new co-hosts! While the show has previously just been an in-season project, this year we are coming at you once a week throughout the offseason to keep you updated on all things Ohio State. Join LGHL’s co-managing editor Gene Ross alongside his co-host Josh Dooley as they cover everything from football to basketball to recruiting and more!

In their final offseason edition of the pod, Gene and Josh break down the 2021 Ohio State roster. They go position by position, discussing who they expect to start at each spot and what they expect to see from each unit. The guys take a look at what should be a dominant Buckeye offense, and attempt to answer some of the questions on a defensive unit that struggled mightily in 2020 — including what will happen with everyone’s favorite OSU defensive back: Demario McCall. They also discuss how some changes in philosophy and scheme for the coaching staff should put the team in the best position to make the College Football Playoff this season.
Beginning next week, Hangout in the Holy Land will be moving to two episodes a week, with a preview episode breaking down each of Ohio State’s opponents — starting with the season opener against Minnesota next Thursday — and a postgame reactions episode following the game each weekend. Be sure to download and listen in wherever you get your podcasts, and leave us a review on Apple to let us know your thoughts and how we can make things even better!
You can also follow us on Twitter @HolyLandPod, as we’ve started to get that account a little more active as the regular season is now upon us, where we will want to hear from you guys even more! If there’s anything you’d like us to talk about on the show, @ us and let us know!
As always, Go Bucks.
