When do tickets go onsale there for the YSU game.. I know one year I bought them super early from that site but thats been a few years ago.. Is there a certain date they go onsale or is it just the week of the game?

The ticket office said they're sold out for the year, but that if there are any returned tickets from the visiting team, those could go on sale sometime the week before the game. There's no schedule for it, it's based on when the tickets are returned.

Last year it was usually on the Monday before the game when that would happen.

Whats the odds that YSU returns some?? I would think good but I dont know.. Ive never had to go this route for tickets before. I just cant bring myself to pay stubhub/ebay prices to watch the YSU game yet I dont want to have to take a chance to buy them from scalpers the day of..

Also, what time does the ticket office open on say, that monday, so I could use hangonsloopy to purchase tickets?

It varies, and they gop quick. The tickets might not even be released when they first open, a few times the last few years they were released in the middle of the afternoon.

Last year tickets were available for every home game on either Thursday or Friday before the game usually on the hour or half hour sometime between 10 AM and 5 PM. I snagged 3 to Illinois but they weren't together. They went really fast and went on sale at like 1:40 PM on Friday. I usually refresh the page every half hour but got burned that time. If they are sold out (as BB73 states) then the only way to get tickets is if the opposing team or faculty and staff turn in tickets. Also, at present, the ticket section of hangonsloopy is down and has a message relaying that it will be back up in mid July. Well, it's mid August and nothing has changed.

If you're trying to go to the YSU game I wouldn't bother waiting for the ticket office either online or in person the day of the game. Just walk around out front and buy some. While those people are normally called "scalpers" there is no scalping for games like that. I've gotten tickets out there for $40 and $60 per pair for the early games (SDSU, Mia-Oh, etc). It's much easier than paying twice that and getting nose bleeds from the ticket office. Wait until the band walks by and then everyone panics and sells their tickets for super cheap because they want to get inside and see the band. In reality after they walk by there is still about 20 mins before they take the field after the walk from SJA.

Do you know if there will be a Skull Session before the YSU game?

I'd be very interested in seeing if this is true this year...with back-to-back NC appearances and all the hype this year, I'll be surprised if there are a huge quantity of tickets available this year.
