I have enjoyed reading your posts. I like your honesty and your progression. By progression I mean I can tell the exact phase you are in. By now you have used all the weapon and got a general feel for all of them. You have noticed that there are basically two different types of weapons. One being general area and the second being pinpoint aim. You have discovered that general area aiming style weapons allow you to get away with less than perfect aim and are more forgiving if the person you are shooting is trying to evade you. Counter to this you have found pinpoint aiming weapons like the BR, DMR, Carbine, etc... are great but require you to sustain your aim longer and over several shoots, and therefore, are not your cup of tea. You have decided Covenant weapons are your preferred flavor of "spray and pray" and have likely developed a style of play built around this.

If you continue to play a deeper evolution will happen. When that occurs you will look back and smile. But, it will take time. You will find that engaging from distance results in a better K/D and encourages teamwork and communication. Keep posting your impressions, they may be the most honest of any of the posts.

I'll be anxious to see if/when that takes place. I'm thinking part of the reason I pick the Covie weapons is because I tend to run head first into the action rather than running around the outer edges and targeting opponents in the distance.

This is what EB is talking about. If continue this trend, most likely your k/d ratio will take a huge hit and you teammates will hate you for not sticking with them. Also, once you start playing better competition you will be dead before getting anywhere near them to do damage with an automatic rifle.

Some people love playing the way you do, but it does not promote teamwork and trying to stay alive. Your style of play is run into the action hopefully get a kill or two then most likely die. If you stay back, most of those players have the mindset of staying alive, helping teammates when needed and getting kills when the enemy comes along.

I've got a buddy who plays exactly like you do and runs head first into the action, and he may get 15-20 kills a game but is also dying 20-25 times (almost have of what the other team needs to win). On the other hand, I stay back, stick with teammates and try to stay alive as long as I can. I'll admit I only get 8-12 kills a game, but I also only die 5-8 times and probably average about 10 assists.

I'm not saying either playstyle is right or wrong, I'm just warning you that in the future people may not like playing with you as much, an you are going to struggle finding kills.

This is interesting feedback. Is your opinion the same with vehicles. Seems like they are a quick way to rack up 3-5 kills right out of the gate and there is always a mad dash to grab the gunner spot on Warthogs.

I'm guessing you suggest the more savvy players hang back and let the action come to them.
