Who is going to be on this evening?
Ragnarok is ok. I think people worship it because it has so many places to snipe from with amazing cover (spaceship, a hill you can't see over without crossing, which usually ensures death). It also has a mech
Exile is mildly better but largely one big track.
I guess I like more intricate and balanced maps like Shatter or Wreckage that have a wide array of places and layouts to fight in, most which include many ways to flank the camping snipers and don't allow you to fire across half of the map.

I'm still pretty new to Halo, but I'm guessing it's the availability of vehicles that is what is most popular.
I think Haven or Adrift are my favorite maps, but too small for Big Team Slayer.
