Halo 3 Beta

Yea, I'm in the Beta (rented Crackdown, plan to keep until Beta is done), it's a blast! Since this is a 4-5 month old build I wonder what the final version will play/look like? The new maps and weapons/devices are refreshing to the Halo series! I wonder what Bungie is still holding back, rumors are that the game will have 4 player co-op, weapons/vehicles not shown yet (like a flamethrower and motorcycle). Can't wait until it's released this September.

Well, I've been playing for a week now and they've thrown out some changes here and there, they just added banshees to the valhalla board and now you can play 12 player matches in the non-ranked room(CTF, VIP, Territories). I like it and I can imagine it's going to look pretty damn sweet once the game comes out.

BTW, we live within spitting distance of each other.

*Hocks up a loogie* kidding, yea I played the twelve player match, it's fun when you can find a lag-free game. Banshees are fun (to drop bombs on peoples' heads), it's also great to shoot Mongooses and Warthogs off the jump ramps on the bases in Valhalla.

I'm not impressed

I downloaded the beta and have played it maybe 5 or 6 times. I'm really not that impressed. Double wielding is hard to see. The graphics aren't that much different that Halo 2 IMO. I'll like the co-op, but really don't like the fact you can't have private rooms in the beta. You have to play with friends, but others join to make the room full.

I like the new Halo 2 maps.
