Do you realize it's a pet peeve for many others even when what is 'revealed' is trim? Especially since many do it to show off?

thats their problem. the dri fit material i find very functional towards my workout by keeping me cool and dry, but if it was only to show off then that is understandable to have a pet peeve about that, but it is difficult to say if they actually are or not. as in my case i run before i go to the RPAC, however john doe could just show up in the same clothes just to show off but nobody can tell for sure.

Thank you. Thank you. I'll be here all night.. well, except for when Lost is on.. and maybe after... It'll depend a lot on what I feel like doing at 11:00. But.. other than that, I'll be here all night... well.. I mean, I'll have to go to bed at some point... but... I'll at least be here a little bit longer tonight... unless something comes up...

NEWSFLASH!!! YOU CAN ALSO DO A MILITARY PRESS SEATED!!! SHOCKING!!!
duh. of course you can. what in the hell does that have to do with dropping a barbell on your head? tell me, newton, does gravity change when a barbell falls from a weightlifter's seated position as opposed to a standing position?

jeffcat, when a neuron happens to fire, can you hear the echo?

of course by dri-fit i am referring to nike's dri-fit material since they have it trademarked as dri-fit like much of their apparel including ohio state's dri-fit football jerseys and dri-fit pants. that is how it is spelled.

Of course, if you had used a hyphen "dri-fit" you would have spelled it correctly. I'm confident OSUBuckguy wouldn't have forgotten the rule "When a word has a hyphen, use the hyphen when typing out the word."

you never specifically said my head. feel free to go back and check for yourself. then after that you implied i didn't know what a military press was after i described how i did it seated, and then you still claimed i didn't know.

in other words.......you are just grasping at straws and beating around the bush.

well considering i previously mentioned it was nike and called it dri fit..........i find it pretty easy to understand what i was implying without a hyphen and most others did as well considering we have heard about it endlessly in the football unis and basketball unis before.

A) That you would understand what you were implying is hardly a surprise.
B) Your conclusion regarding what "most others" understood is based on what, exactly? Who are these "most" others? Since you made the post, it's been 3 people posting. (Edit: 4 since Thump posted while I was writing this)

1. People who don't know the correct way to perform the workout. They'll end up hurting themselves or someone else.

2. (it's been mentioned), when I go for a certain dumbell weight, I expect it to be where it's supposed to be.

yep same here. pushing it to the limit isn't out of the ordinary but once you lose form then its really deterring the point of the lift. i also have that pet peeve with people not having the ability to understand what they are doing and concentrating on the particular muscle group that is supposed to be worked during the lift.
