W/O knowing the cause of death (obviously) they still cut the face before any other part of the body?

Plus, the wife had yet to identify the body.. it would be hard to ID her husbands skull with the face peeled off :lol:

I have no idea why they started there or started before she IDd the body. I was just clarifying why they cut at the face at all. *shrug*

Asked the wife (who is a med school prof). She says the journalist got it wrong. They start with an incision just below the chin because "they take everything out from the tongue to the testicles".

When we get back to South Africa, I am going to get rid of her black bag immediately. :paranoid:

wouldn't they need to perform a second autopsy to confirm the cause of death was the first autopsy?

He knows me by now. The factoid about burying someone in the desert used to make him nervous (Nevada isn't far away) but once I told him the wife is always the first suspect, he figured he was pretty darn safe. :sneaky:
