He has a very good point.
As osugrad said their is an ignore function, use it. Matter of fact about 2 weeks ago someone had a problem with Me and I explained to them the ignore function. Don't know if that person used it or not.
Really I can't agree with the post by 21 any better than if I had written it myself. I think at times people need to take a breath and remember this is a internet chat board. Mosy of us are here to get info on OSU, other sports, events, and in general have fun, thus why it is a open discussion board.
You didn't see GD01 flipping out over us poking fun at his gf's cooking ability, tibor takes abuse on a daily basis, lots of people get called fatass, dumb, hell look at tg05 ( although most of it he deserves :) ) If you are going to get upset about some one liners being thrown around then maybe it's time to reevaluate your time on the internet. Just a thought.

There is a bit of a difference between ripping on Tibs and ripping on iambrutus' wife. And it's obvious. Did iambrutus ask for it? Sure, to some extent, he opened himself up to the abuse...but regardless of what I personally do, I would be pretty pissed if somebody brought my wife into it...of course, I also haven't posted pictures of my wife here, so...
Tibs stirs the pot. It's what he does. He likes to rip on people, and bait people, and as such, he takes a lot of return fire. That's to be expected. There is a huge difference between starting controversy by stirring the pot, then taking flak over it, and just being a little unintelligent in what you post, thereby taking five pages worth of insults for it. Many here would argue that BP would be boring without people like Tibor around, but that's really irrelevant...you just can't compare the abuse Tibs asks for, and the abuse that iambrutus, albeit unintentionally, also asks for.

First off, totally agree with osugrad21.
Would iab be taking any abuse had he not brought this on himself?
If it bothers him so bad, I believe since he started the thread, he has the ability to delete it.
Maybe next time instead of saying, "Let the ball-busting begin" he should think before he types.
Again, it's not like other people haven't had their wives made fun of, I know I have and by an Administrator!! I had no problem with it.
If you don't like it, then just take a break for a bit until it cools down.

Hey, don't get me wrong, Thumpers. I can see both sides here, and completely agree that IAB brought it on himself...all I'm saying is the point has been made, and we're done here. I don't think anybody disagrees with that.

She is amused by it at well. Except when she is annoyed when I'm on instead of cleaning the kitchen.
And that is how it should be....not like any of us really know each other that well. I think most of us look at this as kind of like a locker room where we all bust on each other, with no real harm meant. If people are offended by every little thing then need to growthicker skin.

(no offense anyone) What do you do in the real world when someone says something you dont want to hear? you suck it up and deal with it, there is no ignore button in real life.
