Group C last games (Wed 10 am, ESPN/2) USA vs Algeria

I'm not sure there's really a player out there that's had a bad game.

Demerit and Boca are good on D. 'Dolo is solid as a rock. Bornstein, is...uh, not being Bornstein.
Dempsey and Lando are involved. Bradley is all over the place. Edu started out strong, but a little fading now.
Jozy F'd up, but has looked strong. Herc is involved and dangerous.

Gomez strikes me as the guy that might be able to make some shit happen...they've got 45' to do it or they go home.

USA 0 Algeria 0 at halftime. USA should have about four goals. The disallowed goal, Dempsey saved shot, Altidore/Donovan open net missed chance, and a saved shot on Gomez. US clearly have been the best team in the first half. I think I would give a finger for a US goal and a win right now ...

Wow... another disallowed.

Actually, last week's halftime talk was probably about gettng their heads out of their asses, this should be about composure...

+1 on Buddle and Bornstein, whoever made those comments...

Just need to get one in, need not be pretty.

I'd say with all the peppering, we're doing... we'll probably get a good rebound as long as we keep attacking like this.

2 goals in the second half, I think.

Back to the match.

I thought he was half a step offside, myself. Not playing advantage on that foul to Dempsey when Jozy got the ball, ESPECIALLY since he didn't issue a card, was BS. That was an obvious play-on and that stopped a scoring chance for us.

We gotta be more patient on the attack. The way we're playing, it only seems like a matter of time.

Let's see if we can do what we did last game starting the half!
