UNC v Duke: In hoops, they play each other twice each season, and winning or losing those games has little, if any, impact on either team's NC chances in the tournament.fanaticbuckeye said:http://espn.go.com/
The Game is currently losing to UNC vs Duke and NYY vs Boston.
I personally dont think there is a close comparison between these, maybe I am biased.
Do Buckeyes have a warped sense of the importance of this rivalry? Or is it truely the Greatest Rivalry in Sports?
In high school, I waitressed in a restaurant along I-95 about 40 miles south of DC. We were a regular stop for buses of Skins fans, and it was so much fun. The whole place turned into a party for a few hours. I wasn't into football at the time, but never missed a game against the Cowboys until years later.BrutusBobcat said:Awesome post. The very first football game of any kind that I watched as a kid was a Redskins-Cowboys game (yes, even before I saw my first OSU game). I'm not sure I would put it above the Cowboys-Steelers, though, because those were Super Bowl games between the two dominant teams of that era.
