Hehe, yep. I actually played it on my Apple II before I ever played the original. The second one is less chess-like. You start with 4 "adepts" who can summon the other creatures, and the goal is to control the 6 power points at once. The 4 different elements have different types of obstacles on the battlefields, and the creatures are weaker/stronger in different elements, which gives it some extra strategy.
