Mo Clarrett his senior year put up 312 yards and 5 TDs on 13 carries in the first half of a play off game against #4 in the state Lakewood St Edward his senior year. I called all my Buckeye friends to tell them about this kid who was going to start as a frosh. As Paul Harvey would say...........
great post as usual....how the hell do you get rep?

Well i'm from a non-talented football part of Illinois, so i'll cheat and say Iowa DE Matt Roth, but as a wrestler at the state tournment, just bullied all of his opponents, wasn't even close.
If you can do that, then I'll say Chris Nelloms at the 1990 state track meet. I don't know if he even played football, but if you saw the performance he put on you wouldn't care, either.

Edit: He's in prison...looking up charges right now....

Uggh, that's what I thought. Child rapist Chris Nelloms. He was still pretty damn fast.

AJ Hawk in a 2000 game had 30 tackles. I don't remember exactly but I think he also had 3 TD runs. And at least 3 of those tackles came from his own kick-offs.

What do you mean by his own kickoffs?

I believe Centerville had some kicker by the name of Mike Nugent that year.

Unless you mean that 3 of those tackles came when he was on the kickoff team.

I played (I was on JV at the time, but I dressed for Varsity) against Fremont Ross when they had Charles Woodson. he threw a TD, caught a TD, Rushed for 2 TDs, Intercepted a pass for a TD, returned a punt for a TD, and broke our QB's neck.

No...Hawk's senior year Nugent was already at tOSU...AJ saw time as the kicker, punter, LB and FB that year...so he kicked the ball, outran everyone else down the field and then made the tackle himself is what he meant

Oh I see

I've seen that before

This year we had one of our WR(Who used to be our starting QB, but changed to WR) ran down in kickoff coverage and hit the guy so hard he knocked his OWN helmet off.

1988...Toledo Central Catholic defensive stand against Macomber. Central up less than a touchdown with a little over a minute left in the game. Macomber has the ball first and goal at the two. Central's defense stops Chuck Webb (University of Tennessee, drafted Rd. 3 Green Bay) three plays in a row. On fourth down fake to Chuck and give to Myron Bell (Michigan St., drafted Rd. 5 Pittsburgh) and he gets stuffed.

Corey Dillon in 2000 rushing for 278 yards against Denver (league second ranked defense at that time).
