Greatest Defense in NFL History

'85 Bears. Gave up only 10 points in 3 playoff games, including the only back-to-back shutouts in the history of the NFL playoffs. They outscored the offenses they faced in the playoffs.

:slappy: though I'd argue the 2000 Browns "offense" was probably more of an attribute to opposing defenses. Spurgeon Wynn...'nuff said.

Excellent point, however I dismissed the 1999 and 2000 Browns offense due to expansionism....yet sitting here in 2007 it still feels like expansionism.

Spurgeon Wynn...man there is a name I forgot. Sounds like the name of a fishing charter for Lake Erie.

No lie, I actually had a Chris Gardocki jersey made back then because he was the best player on the Browns roster.
