For me, Glenn had the best single season, but Marv has passed Cris Carter as the best-ever Buckeye receiver.

It’s interesting that besides Carter, tOSU has two other NFL WR Hall-of-Famers not on the above list: Dante Lavelli and Paul Warfield. Due to injuries, Lavelli only played in 1 or 2 games during his only year on the team (1942 National Champs) before fighting in WWII prior to his outstanding career for the Browns.

Warfield played RB at tOSU and only caught 39 passes (6 TDs) on Woody’s run-heavy teams in the early ‘60s, before also starring for the Browns and the Dolphins.

You look at Cris Carter's stats...

Receiving

Year School G Rec Yds Avg TD
1984 Ohio State 11 32 476 14.9 7
1985 Ohio State 11 53 879 16.6 8
1986 Ohio State 12 65 1066 16.4 11
Career Ohio State 34 150 2421 16.1 26

Just sayin': Cris Carter would have statistically "blown everyone else out of the water" had he been allowed to play his senior year.

Not to mention had a QB even close to the ones playing today! Marv is top 3 for sure but if he came back he'd be #1
