If your looking to do it yourself, but not paying $500 for Photoshop, then you can get a full trial version of Photoshop from download.com

This is a 10 day trial(I believe it is 10 days), but it is also the full version, it is not a demo. You can do all the same things you can do if you went out and bought it. But it only lasts 10 days.

Paint.net is image and photo manipulation software designed to be used on computers that run Windows 2000, XP, or Server 2003. Paint.net has many of the powerful features that expensive commercial applications have, such as the ability to use layers.
