A lot of people are getting awards for material that is nowhere near their best material. (Bruce Springsteen? Foo Fighters?) I don't even think the White Stripes album was as good as its predecessors, but it's nowhere near as egregious as some of the other cheese that is getting people trophies.
And don't get me started on Amy Skankhouse. What an abomination!
