ummm...at least for OSU, finals are over.

I'm a 30 year old college kiddie and have a final tomorrow...so some of us need help.

I do have my undergrad from OSU...so that is a belated. I just decided to get a Law Degree. Oh how I love school! (saracsm font not available). There is also a Masters thrown in there. I hate school, and yet I keep coming back. It will never end!

Oh, I guess the kiddies in Boston are a bit behind. Does OSU have that entire Thanksgiving-to-New Year's break?
OSU has a one week break between Thanksgiving and the start of finals week. But yeah...I killed my finals and I am really happy. Especially my mol gen final. Jebus that thing was hard. People asked if it was hard, and I told 'em "The ones that I knew where easy...."

What Ohio State do you go to? There isn't a one week break between Thanksgiving and finals. You get off on Thursday and Friday (officially observing Columbus day) for Thanksgiving. And then you have class again starting on that Monday, then the second week of december this year was finals week. No break anywhere still have classes to go to.

Completed my Higher Education Law and Statistics finals on Monday and Tuesday respectively. I just have to finish my final paper for Educational Leadership on Thursday and then I get the next month off.......to work on the house.

How did your first semester go anyway buckeyegrad?

Was it as difficult as you anticipated?

Honestly, it was a big disappointment. The good news is that I should have a 4.00, but the coursework was not challenging at all....it seemed like a repeat of Masters-level work. I am more hopeful for next semester as I know two of the courses I am taking will require complete literature reviews, so hopefully I can find a research topic out of them to expand upon that will allow me to present and/or publish something next year.

Done with finals, just waiting for the bad news now

But here's a question for you all....

Is a multiple choice exam too easy for college?

The only classes I had as an undergrad that gave MC exams were psychology 550 and 551 (all MC), and the organic chem series which was about 30% MC.

I bring this up because my immunology final was all MC, and while the material was hard as hell, the exam was decidedly easy, simply because--unlike all my other exams the last couple years--it was NOT 10 pages of essays :)
