Don't get down to early, I think both of the hightlighted games are very winnable for Minny. Not that the other's are locks for a loss, but its a considerable step up in competition.

If Illinois is still coached by the zooker, you still have a good shot. And since Iowa is replacing their starting RB and big time DT tandem, its anybody's guess.

Good points. I am really down on Iowa compared to the national people with all the losses particularly the DT's and losing 97% of their running game from a year ago. Ricky Stanzi is the flavor of the week, but lets see how good a QB is without a Doak Walker winner carrying the rock as the main weapon. But the game is @ kinnick.

I chose the Illini loss vs a MSU loss. I think we win one of those two--both are at home though.

Hells yeah. 7-5-owa and Kirkie just love to lose games like this one, so I'd say you have a great shot at the Hawkeyes. I also agree you'll probably win one of those games, but not both, but you never know. Someone is going to jack up their win total this year with Iowa and Wisconsin heading South. A lot of people think it will be MSU, NW, or Illinois, but Minnesota could be that team.

If we develop the run game (read: O-line play) we could steal 8 wins. I think winning @OSU/PSU is out of reach, and Cal is gonna be a b*tch with the best RB in football...

Gopher fans would be happy with 7-5. That probably is unthinkable to OSU fans, but given where the program has been, and the schedule, that record would be great for us.

When I think of the U, I remember the summer of '95 that I spent interning up there. Great, great time with the Delts! Special place in my heart for a lot of things about the University of Minnesota.
