About the Texas game, I've been looking forward to it for over a year already.

Texas won't get in double digits in this game, guaranteed. I can see us winning a 14-6, 14-9, 17-7 ballgame, or something like that. Vince Young will NOT be able to run all over us like he did scUM on last Saturday. AJ Hawk has shown tremendous speed, and our rush defense will be unbelievable next year. He'll have to rely on the passing game, because Snyder will constantly send people to the outside of the pocket to keep him inside the pocket.

That mean's he'll probably have to throw the ball a little, and I like our chances with the returning talent in the defensive backfield. I am going to do my damndest to get to this game.

If anyone is interested in selling a 4-pack of tickets, I'll pay top dollar. Just PM me. =]

Good Schedule

This is a Nc schedule. The key tothe whole season is Iowa, if we want the NC we have to make a statment here. We need TS back, Zwick is a fine QB but as the bowls have shown a mobile QB is the wild card.:ie,Young, Alex Smith, Drew Tate. If our line and running game needs time to come together TS gives us the best chance to win. Besides scuM can't defend a running QB. Even Krenzels mobility
saved us in 2002.

Our toughest games will be:

1)scUM
2)Iowa
3)Texas and PS- a tie

Our first test will be Texas (obviously).
A gauge for the rest of the season will be Iowa.
I look for us to be undefeated going into scUM. This will be our toughest test.

Some of the others will be thorns but we should get by them.

Normally I would agree....

I think Zwick has as much mobility at least as what Krenzel had...

Hes got "just enough" to get by I mean even when he was pressure in the alamo bowl he didn't get sacked. No he didn't turn it into a big play, but I don't want Smith on the team after what he did....

I seriously have never seen Tressel open up the offense like this before...

If we keep this up with a better run game next season, I think we got undefeated with our defense. I dont think the normal games that are thorns for us will be as big a thorns as usual with our D back like it is and our offense actually opening things up now...
