    • Does anyone know anything about the Goldsboro, NC area? I am interviewing with a company for a potential position down there.

    Looks like Greenville may be the place to live or closer to Raleigh???

    i have a cousin that lives just outside Raleigh (Cary, NC) - and that are is gorgeous - its about 75 minutes north west of Goldsboro

    Goldsboro ain't Cary. Cary is an upscale suburb in the Research Triangle area. Don't know the Goldsboro area well, but I'm thinking hog farms and chicken-processing plants.

    Greenville, NC is a shithole. The city was supposedly pretty nice 20 years ago, but has been run down since then by ECU and crime/violence. The only perk of moving there would be the college girls. Not a place to raise your kids. I would steer clear of there and live closer to Raleigh, which I have heard is a pretty cool place to live...
